Community Colleges Can Cut the Cost of a Degree
Every week there are articles about the high cost of a degree. Students (or their parents or their companies) are spending thousands of dollars each year on education.
Online degrees, especially those designed for working professionals, average $1200/class for undergraduate classes and about $1800/class for graduate classes. Coming into an online bachelor degree with no credits means the degree can cost close to $50000. Coming into an online master degree and needing foundation classes can cost close to $30000.
Using the community college system can cut those tuition costs down. Almost every state has a college system and offer classes from a low of under $50/class (California is an example) to about $300/class. Classes are offered in General Education, Lower Division courses for the major and Electives.

Don’t Shy Away From Special Education Programs For Your Child
If your child has special needs or a disability, special education may help your child succeed in school and in life. However, many parents fear that their child will be singled out for special education classes in a room separate from their classmates, so they avoid seeking out special education arrangements.
While this was the case at one time, current special education laws require schools to provide an educational environment that is as unrestrictive and equal for all children as possible.
